Ann-Christin Andersen

Ann-Christin Andersen is an executive with more than 30 years’ experience from the offshore industry and more than 10 years in Renewable Energy sector as non-executive on boards and strategic advisor.

She has held executive and senior management positions in Shell, ABB and the Kongsberg Group and FMC/KOS Subsea (now TechnipFMC). In TechnipFMC she has served as Chief Digital Officer, Managing Director, and held SVP/Vice President roles for Projects and Products. Ann Christin started 4ADA AS in 2019, offering strategic advisory and support for start-ups as advisor, interim CEO, investor and/or Board member. Start-ups she has been supporting include: Quantafuel – chemical recycling of plastics (now part of Viridor), Argeo – autonomous surveillance (now listed), Tidetec – tidal range, Gen2Energy – green hydrogen production. In addition, she has served as chair and non-executive director of several boards the last decades for companies like Veidekke, Maersk Drilling and Å Energi. She is cofounder of – Kvinnelig Kapital – a network of female investors.

In 2023 Ann-Christin took on the CEO role in Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) alongside her board portfolio Rotork Plc, SDK Freja, Å Energi, Gen2Energy and Drammen Havn. Ann-Christin has a Bachelor degree with 1st Class Honors in Offshore Electrical Engineering from Heriot Watt University, UK and an Executive MBA with Honors at IMD University in Lausanne, Switzerland. Ann Christin is a frequent guest speaker at IMD and holds an executive in residence position.
