Accessibility

We want industriuka.no to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability, device, or how the website is used.

The website has been developed with accessibility as part of its technical solution. This includes, among other things, a semantic page structure, a clear heading hierarchy, keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, labelled form fields and support for reduced motion.

Dialogue boxes, tabs and image viewers are designed to be used with a keyboard. The website also has a 'Skip to main content' function for users who navigate using a keyboard.

Images added via the website's media library must have alternative text.

The website is responsive and designed for use on mobile, tablet and larger screens.

Videos from YouTube and Vimeo only load when the user chooses to play them.

We try to make our editorial content as accessible as possible. However, some videos may lack captions, a transcript or another full text alternative.

The website has not undergone a fully documented WCAG compliance test.

There may therefore be accessibility issues we are not yet aware of. This can include issues with certain contrast combinations, screen reader use, high zoom levels, or keyboard navigation in more complex parts of the site.

The accessibility of images also depends on the quality of the alternative texts added by our editors.

If you encounter a barrier, are unable to access content, or find something difficult to use, we would like to know about it.
