Privacy

Industriuka AS is committed to ensuring personal data is processed in a secure and proper manner. Here we describe what personal data we process when you use industriuka.no and the exhibitor portal, why we process it, and what choices and rights you have.

Data Controller

Industriuka AS is the data controller for personal data processed via industriuka.no and the exhibitor portal.

Industriuka AS, org.nr. 933 803 848, Storgata 162, 3915 Porsgrunn.

What data we process

For regular visitors to the website, we do not collect personal data through analytics or marketing tools.

If you create a user account or use the exhibitor portal, we may process data such as your name, email address, company affiliation, and information related to your access to the portal.

For exhibitors, we may also process contact information, profile information and information about orders, such as contact person, invoice reference, notes and which goods or services have been ordered.

When you request access to the exhibitor portal, we may process your name, email address, job title, company, and the message sent with the request.

We also use internal information about who has created or changed content in the system for administration and traceability purposes.

Why we process the data

The personal data is used to manage user accounts and access to the exhibitor portal, manage exhibitor profiles and participation in Industriuka, process orders from exhibitors, follow up on requests and enquiries, administer and operate the system, and comply with any legal obligations.

Processing takes place when it is necessary to manage participation and deliver agreed services, to safeguard legitimate administrative needs, to comply with legal requirements, or on the basis of a choice or consent from the data subject where this is relevant.

Public contact information for exhibitors

Contact information that an exhibitor registers in the exhibitor portal is not public by default.

The exhibitor can choose 'Show contact information publicly'. If this is activated, the contact person's name, email address, telephone number and LinkedIn profile may be displayed on the public exhibitor page.

This option can be turned off again later in the exhibitor portal.

Storage in the browser

The website does not use cookies for analytics or marketing.

For logged-in users, necessary session information is stored locally in the browser so that the user can remain logged in.

The ordering module can also save a local working copy of an order in progress in the browser. This ensures that your selections are not lost if the page is reloaded. The local working copy does not contain prices that are used as an authoritative basis for the order.

We do not currently use analytics or marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or similar.

Third-party services

The system uses Supabase for functions including login, database and file storage.

The website's fonts are served locally from the website itself and are not loaded from Google Fonts.

Some pages may contain videos from YouTube or Vimeo. No connection is made to these services until you choose to play the video. When you press 'Play video', your browser connects to the relevant video service, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

How long the data is stored

We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to manage customer relationships and participation, or for as long as we are required to store the data under applicable regulations.

Data that is no longer necessary will be deleted or anonymised when there is no other legal basis for its continued storage.

Your rights

You may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have incorrect data rectified, to request deletion or restriction of processing, and in some cases to object to the processing or request data portability.

Some data can be changed by you in the exhibitor portal. Other requests are handled manually by Industriuka AS.

Contact us at hilde@industriuka.no if you wish to exercise your rights or have questions about how we process personal data.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet if you believe that personal data is being processed in breach of data protection regulations.

Changes

This privacy notice may be updated if the service or the way we process personal data changes. The most current version will always be published on this page.
